this statue was created by Gustav Vigeland (who lived to be a 100 years old before he passed away in 1943) and is currently residing in Vigeland Park of Oslo, Norway.
Vigeland depicts the joys and struggles of humanity in his sculptures.
in this particular one, you can sense the mans frustration towards babies. the fact that Vigeland decided to have him naked could suggest the man has been stripped down to his most bare form and thus, making his emotions symbolically more real and honest. he may never do that in real life per se, but he may have thought it in secret. just my intepretation.

To me, the statue is about:
A man who peed in his pants because he realized that his quadruplets could fly. He had to take off those pants because they were wet, and also because he had to try and catch them. And it is just plain hard to catch flying quadruplets with wet pants.
lastlifeinmyuniverse: Are you serious? This is a real statue? I think I'll have to research this! +3 points for knowing some 'interesting' facts. :D
